The Needle's Eye is
the newsletter of Stitchers by the Sea and is published
monthly, approximately 1 week before the regular meeting. It
includes dates of our meetings, program supplies, events, current listing of Board
members with contact information, and other tidbits. When selected, the newsletter will open in a separate browser window.
In some cases there are two versions of the newsletter, a Word document (.doc file type) and a PDF document (.pdf file type) - both copies have the the same contents, just the file format is different.
If you have difficulties with the newsletter, here are some trouble-shooting tips.
- If you get a blank page, it often means that too many other people are trying to download the newsletter when you are trying. Wait a bit and try again.
- If you are trying to open a large file, you may need a bit of patience. Depending upon your internet connect, it may take a few seconds to a few minutes to open the file.
- Another possibility is that you do not have enough memory allocated to your browser to download the file or you have too many programs open at the same time and they are using the accessible memory. Try closing down other programs and/or restarting your computer to clear everything. We realize that restarting your computer may seem a bit drastic, but it is a tried and true method for fixing memory problems.
- If you still have problems,
and she will email the file to you. Some computers handle a download via email easier than from the web.
Please
note: The
newsletter is password protected and available
to EGA members only. If you are an EGA member, you can request email notification and access to the newsletter by contacting our
and requesting access information. Your EGA number and primary chapter/region affiliation are required.
